Making clay sing
Whistles and flutes have been made across the globe since ancient times for signaling across long distances, ritual/religious ceremony, entertainment, and storytelling. By combining modern understanding of the physics of acoustics, and ceramic techniques, I am able to craft a variety of unique and captivating soundscapes. Manipulating the geometry of these vessels allows me to fine tune these sounds to give voice to clay.
